This simulation consists of two parts. The first part represents the return journey of a spaceship and shows the effects on time and distance, as foreseen by the theory of limited relativity. The journey is observed by two reference systems, one considered stationary (Earth) that we indicate with S and a second one in motion (spaceship) that we indicate with S'. In this animation the accelerations / de-accelerations are not taken into account and, time dilation and distance contraction, are analyzed only as a function of speed.read more
